September 12, 2013 – IBC Amsterdam, Netherlands – NGCodec.com today announces availability of free 4K HEVC/H.265 test clips (NGCodec.com/hevc-bitstreams) The bit-streams have been compressed with the Alpha NGCodec ‘Harrier’ encoder.

“Last January NGCodec issued free HEVC/H.265 compliance test clips which have been licensed by more than 150 companies. Today we are adding bit-streams in 2160p, 1080p, 720p and 480p resolutions as both elementary stream (.hevc) and .MKV wrapped files” said Oliver Gunasekara, Co Founder, President and CEO at NGCodec Inc.
